I honestly feel you wer being a little to nice to this movie. Since you left out two big problems with the film. 1. The story has this awful trend of being full of scenes that happen and do nothing to the plot. It is prevalent in almost every single scene, as if the writers knew what the plot was but didn't fully think out how they would do it. 2. You know how Shrek the third, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, and the Ice Age 4 & 5 have the problem of having a large group of characters with most of them not contributing to the plot, this film subverts this in the worst way possible. They have a good amount of characters, but barring Marla, Charlie, and maybe Maximus, all of the remaining characters not only don't contribute to the plot, but are also living props who that exist with no personalities. The worst has to be the fairy godmother, who only appears for one scene to move the plot along by helping Marla. Although I think this film sucks, I don't think it is as bad as Artic Dogs.

Why at 4:34 some figures have different colors than the original ones. Honestly the movie could've been better if they worked on it a little more. Will Smith turn into bird Tom Holland turn into Dust.

Playmobil the movie song. It's definitely not as witty as #TheLegoMovie, but #PlaymobilTheMovie is a colorful mix between a musical animation and live action, perfect for kids under double digits.
THINGS I LIKED:
I like Anya Taylor-Joy and thought she did a great job. There were, however, a few times when she said her lines so fast that I couldn't understand what she said.
The talented musical cast includes Meghan Trainor, Adam Lambert, Anya Taylor-Joy. Other non-singing highlights include Daniel Radcliffe and Kenan Thompson. This is Daniel Radcliffe's first animated film.
Comedian Jim Gaffigan! Yes! I just wrote in my recent movie review of THEM THAT FOLLOW that it always catches me off guard when I see him in a serious drama. He always does a great job in drama or comedy. Now he can add "musical" to his filmography. He has a fantastic voice for animation and has the funniest lines in the movie.
Gabriel Bateman does a good job as live action and voice talent.
It was cute to see a burly Viking with a little kid voice.
Parents will appreciate the female "Jabba the Hut" character from the original Star Wars: A New Hope.
Kids will enjoy the variety of environments and lands.
THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE:
It doesn't have the humor and zip that the Lego movies have.
The songs are enjoyable but not very memorable.
Some of the voices don't quite match what the characters look like.
More punchy humor would have helped.
TIPS FOR PARENTS:
There is a sad moment when people die, although you don't see it happen.
A boy says that something "sucks" and his sister says, Language!
A boy and his sister play with some Playmobil figures. Your kids are probably going to want to buy some. This movie is filled with merchandising.
A boy says tattoos are cool.
Fighting among Playmobil characters.
A character drinks alcohol.
Toys in danger.
Your kids may want a passport.

It's just a movie to me. When I want historical perspective I watch the History Channel. This is clearly not a masterpiece, but its one of the most consistently entertaining movie Ive seen. Its strange that people complained about a lack of Godzilla in the first one, but complain about too much Godzilla in this one.

But, I guess politics got in the way of history, and they decided that a total rewrite to the point where it was based around a fictional character needed to be done because the truth had too much meh patriarchy? Because they couldn't depict men as being intelligent or daring in any way?
They went woke, and filled it with trope of the new woke fad.
So, Jones doesn't really struggle, she never makes a mistake, she is always more intelligent, stronger, and braver than anyone else around her, while everyone else around her is a bumbling fool that only succeeds because of her capabilities.
And, of course, her character is entirely fictional.
But, it's a success if you want to entirely rewrite history to suit a political agenda.

Really, without them, we would be missing so many movies outright, and their transfers are phenomenal. That is the bright point with Black Christmas; in the past, watching this movie meant tuning into really dark darks and blurry compositions, which hurt the movie in the eyes of a lot of people.

Let us count all of the scenes and dialogue from this trailer that was NEVER shown in the film: 1) 0:00 - this shot of the college was not shown in any part of the film, only front shots of the school were shown. 2) 0:01 - the school was also never shown. 3) 0:02 - the dialogue from the professor dismissing his students for the christmas break is never heard in this film, as well as the students are also never shown packing up and leaving class. 4) 0:04 - marty is never shown in class smiling at riley. 5) 0:09 - riley is never shown with the santa hat on by herself, only shots with landon and her walking. 6) 0:12 - this only minor, but the blumhouse logo is only BH in the film, also without the christmas lights. 7) 0:15 - no one in the film ever yells chug to anyone. 8) 0:21 - the girl that is stabbed with the icicle later on in the trailer (referred to as helena) actual name is lindsay! 9) 0:33 - marty never tells riley to live a little. 10) 0:35 - it is implied in the trailer that the guy following lindsay is the one holding the keys, it is in fact her that is grasping the keys, as a weapon and for protection. 11) 0:51 - the audience never sees what is behind the door, the camera quickly cuts away right before the man can be seen, although a dark silhouette of a hooded figure is seen briefly, but hard to notice. 12) 0:53 - kris never says to riley if i was missing, i would want you to unleash the bloodhound to track me down, she is in fact talking to riley about helena having food poisoning. 13) 0:59 - the three boys standing near the entrance to dko are also never seen in the film. 14) 1:01 - this shot of nate looking up with the hood on isn't shown. 15) 1:05 - when riley is talking to someone on her phone, there is no breathing, just some static and then it turns out to be helena's mother worried about her not showing up to her house. 16) 1:09 - girls allowed 1969 we never see this spray painted on the school logo ever. 17) 1:10 - the two boys who jump at riley are also never shown (doing this action) they are only seen in the background as she is walking to class. 18) 1:15 - the two shots of the hooded figure walking are never seen, we only see him appear behind a car which kris and the rest of the sorority girls are driving in, which he goes to shoot an arrow into. 19) 1:18 - we never see a bird's eye view of the hooded figure over lindsay's dead body. 20) 1:21 - the hooded figure never touches the stockings. 21) 1:24 - riley never says this in the film, kris says the whole sentence. 22) 1:25 - the santa wind-up is never grabbed at all through the film. 23) 1:45 - when riley lifts the hood off, it is not a statue, rather one of the male cult members that riley had seen previously in the film. same with 1:48 24) 2:05 - riley and kris never grab hands after trapping the cult members in the house. 25) 2:07 - cult member never push the sticks towards them. 26) 2:10 - one of the hooded figures is never seen smashing the car window which kris is in. 27) 2:11 - the christmas tree is never shown being cut. 28) 2:16 - no one ever says ho ho, bitch. 29) 2:22 - black ooze never drips from any cult members' fingers. 30) 2:23 - landon never grabs riley away from the house, in the film, he just stands with her. dear universal, blumhouse and sophia takal, why.

Pelicula navidad sangrienta cuando se estrena. Apart from the time of year, it has nothing to do with Christmas, and apart from the murders, there's no horror in it. The acting's ok and the premise is good enough, but the delivery of the story is poor and the attempts to shock or surprise you are weak. Shallow characters, no atmosphere, and no gore make it a watchable but dull experience. If you know someone in your life who you hate then buy them a ticket to see this.
Then sit back and laugh like Mr Burns knowing they are watching this awful movie.

I'll watch it but I doubt it'll be better than the Canadian cult classic. The movie is pretty good, and so is the acting. It's definitely more gorier than the original version. If you can find this movie cheap, which it should be now, I would recommend it. I have to watch one Christmas horror movie every time before Christmas, so this one will be pulled again by me to see then. I would give this a 3.6 out of 5.
